ABOUT ME

Celina was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, where she began taking classical ballet lessons at a young age. During her university years, she became enamoured with flamenco after seeing a performance at a local cafe. She began studying the dance form under Rosario Ancer at Centro Flamenco.
In 2008, she moved to Sevilla, Spain to study intensively under renowned instructors such as Juana Amaya, Andrés Peña, and Isabel Bayon. In 2013, she relocated to Osaka, Japan and subsequently joined the dance troupe Hijas de Manzanilla. In 2014, the troupe received an award at the Asociación Nipona de Flamenco's 23rd annual competition.
She now performs in the Kansai area and regularly visits Spain to study and immerse herself more fully in the art form.
